Complete and utter disaster. The most underinvested network in the footprint is showing its age. Amplifiers are outdated and nodes are overflowing with customers. There are many nodes that need to be split but aren’t being split due to budget limitations and engineers having to pick and choose. Customers are enraged (rightfully so). What is the game plan? Supervisors or Managers don’t care. They say they are working on a 5th upstream like the rest of the footprint but that will only scratch the surface. D 3.1 was scheduled to be complete here late May but we still haven’t moved channels and added the OFDM. Company is laser focused on FTTH that they have forgotten about areas that won’t see it for a long time. Last I checked Litchfield would be done after Bridgeport but the system will deteriorate beyond repair before dexter deploys his fiber here. Honest to god, what is the company trying to do with this part of the footprint are they selling it to spectrum?

Why what’s going on then? Not much at all only a couple node splits and conference calls, they are taking their time with D 3.1 and not a single inch of fiber has been pulled for FTTH. Prove me other wise troll.
You don’t know what’s going on , your probably in construction or OSP...??
I am not saying it’s taking too long to deploy 3.1. I am saying that the system is showing its age and those in charge are not stepping up to maintain the property.
You obviously don't know what's going on and probably in Construction or OSP lmfao.. A lot of things have to happen before the launch of DOCSIS 3.1, within the next 2 months all of Altice CT will be DOCSIS 3.1
if they could sell it they will they just can’t because of their debt load thats why they couldn’t sell lightpath you just have to sit and wait. stay safe and be well
