Looks like (2) big execs left Citrix last week. Thomas Eacobacci, SVP Sales and Christian Reiley, CTO. Sounds like Thomas was there for 20 years and Christian for 5 years. Does anyone know who replaced them or was this a push to remove them?
With the company being mostly led by former SAP'ers, do you think the time has come to make a change at the very top?

What do you mean by no real vision for Workspace?
There is a big strategy for Workspace , and it’s called headless chicken strategy.

Workspace bet is falling off...These execs can see the writing on the wall and want to leave before the next financial results.
The truth is there is no real vision with Workspace and VMWare is way ahead in the game as far as adoption goes. Microapps strategy is all noise and it has seen no real takers (ask for usage in next all hands, and you will know). Selling this c-ap, finding customers will be someone else’s headache and that’s why these folks have left.
You will see many more such announcements over next couple months from SVP and up, who after having made a fool of everyone are now jumping the ship when they are answerable.

Tom was an a$$. Glad he’s gone. No harm to Citrix sales. He’s legacy sales around here. Christian was an amazing CTO. Dude had vision and wanted to execute in many projects, but too many voices and opinions at Citrix. It’s a loss for the company. It does feel like a lot of former SAP employees making their way over to Citrix.
