Walgreens new construction Skyway to connect Buildings on Wilmot

Does anyone know what the estimated cost will be for Walgreens to build the corporate skyway to connect some buildings on Wilmot road? Given the extremely large volume of Corporate information technology employee layoffs, $1.5 billion dollar TCS Consulting contract to outsource information technology jobs, store closings, reduction of corporate benefits, no more bonuses, elimination of paper coupons, and so on, has the skyway plan be put on hold indefinitely or cancelled?

Now, they are going to sell off the 300 and 200 buildings? Not very forward thinking of the company to spend megabucks on a skyway ($$$$$) during the pandemic only to turn around and sell off the buildings in order to reduce overhead as a result of finally allowing employees to consistently work from home.
What's next, will the downtown office space (in the old post office building) close?

In 2020, Walgreens laid off 4,000 people from the Boots location and hundreds of USA Corporate I.T professionals and mega store personnel. Many higher ranking executives left or were asked to leave. Somehow, they had funding to build a walkway between corporate buildings during the same time frame. Could the funding have been reallocated to saving jobs or was the depreciation of assets more important? Did the Stockholders approve this frivolous expenditure?

Time to rethink expenditures and put the skywalk on hold. What do you think?
