It won’t only be office work that moves.
Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement will all move eventually. The whole industry wants to save money. 40% savings are being thrown about. Is there any other way of making these savings other than cheep unqualified labour using inferior materials.
Safety and quality is thrown about because it sounds good but in reality money talk. The scales are tipping and the risks takers want higher profit margins at any cost. Stand in their way and you’ll be replaced. It may be a good thing if Oil and Gas collapses because the next major disaster is just round the corner.
It will never be over. This is the end of Oil & Gas as we know it.
