Thread regarding Sysco Corp. layoffs

F___ You, Sysco and Kevin Hourican

What point were you trying to make by saying there is 2 billion on Sysco's balance sheet? If Sysco has so much money to boast about, why then, don't you care enough about your employees to try and help them? How do you think you are going to operate now with 33% of your workforce gone? You put out commercials like you care about people, but you have wrecked your own employees lives, many who have dedicated many years to you...some of them, more than half their lives! You senior executives are horrible, horrible people and you should be ashamed of yourselves for the decisions you have made! So, so greedy. Karma really needs to bite you back and the sooner the better!

We knew as soon as a guy with no experience in Foodservice came in he was here for one reason to do exactly what just happened. Imagine how he feels right now, he just had the worst quarter/year in the history of the company, Covid or not you are your results and his s—. Problem is Kevin will never see this I posted on FB and it was removed for hate speech. Go figure. We will see how thing work out 50% of the business is not returning the silent enemy k–led a once vibrant independent restaurant trade. It is time to go back to school or seek work in a different trade this one is dead.

Every person that Sysco fired or lays off equals another person who will now not be able to afford to patronize a restaurant. They are inadvertently having a negative impact on their restaurant customers when they leave 1000's of people without jobs. Kevin Horecan is a horrible person and a dirty liar who never should have bragged about a surplus of profit.

Right! Thats exactly what I've been saying. They preached to us not to worry we have billions in reserves and the 2 months later see ya later. On top of that I just read an article saying they could ride this out for years. Problem is this was all in the works for their 3-5 year plan but Corona gave them an excuse to clean house early. Its genius to show the shareholders you mean business. Consolidate the work of 10 people to 3 stress them out until they're off on stress leave. Curious to see how this pans out
