Somebody mentioned June layoffs, are they supposed to start this week or sometime later in the month?

What is the morale in the Wayne office? I’m imagining sears-like atmosphere
Network team is next. Unitas, rumor is they may even replace some DCO staff.
More departures this week, PM's and SA's :-(
As AD said......"the Unitas Way or the Highway" ......no cash for exiting......so sad!!!
1st July is a date to put in your diaries.
For those who are already in the consultation process with your local hr partner and being ‘ interviewed ! ‘ for your jobs, good luck with that but I would suggest that if they front up some cash for you to go quickly and quietly, take it and run.
More names on lists will be receiving their ‘ interview ‘ invitations from hr shortly.
Corp Admin as we speak.....sad.
Sungard plan of action
No sales of note + Customers leaving on mass + Operational costs unsustainable = Redundancies
No merit increase + No bonus plan + Redundancy pay offs = More Redundancies
New strategy + New leadership + New signing bonuses = Much More Redundancies
Ditch existing partners + Find new partners + Create overlap = Even More Redundancies
Is anyone seeing a pattern here ?
So to any newbies asking questions about if/when the redundancies are gonna happen, as long as the cycle above continues, redundancies are a natural occurrence.
Unless of course the one and only saviour OnePositiveGuy can work some epic skullduggery and turn you all into believers of the ‘ we are working towards a Google-like model ‘.
For me, the google comment just was the icing on the crazy cake.
More importantly, stay healthy + stay safe.
On the work front, get as much training + certs under your belt as you can and network your @55 off from now. You should be aiming for an August/September exit, as long as you can avoid the push of course.
to ask when they start assumes that you believe they have stopped
SunGard has more experience laying people off than restarting a server
Layoffs already started!
“Are we sure there will be layoffs??”
Are you a new hire? Sungard is known for multiple rounds of layoffs every year due to poor management up top ... all the stuff happening now is just the icing on the cake ...
And are we even sure there will be layoffs?
