Serious question: Do you think DeVry ever gets tired of their regular rounds of layoffs? A healthy chunk of their leadership team is gone— Assoc Provost, VP, Group Presidents... what next?
The amount of instability with talent at DeVry is maddening. One can only imagine how those who remain employed there feel walking on eggshells wondering who’s next. :/
If you hadn't noticed. They are getting rid of career and student services after admissions - they s— anyways. All those issues with inflating placements for the last few years. It was a huge layoff that was needed. There will be more in the fall or early 2021 as the competition begins for students from colleges & universities around the world. DeVry can not compete.
With one region, that means 3 GPs, 3 Deans, and 9 Group Directors were affected. My guess is they all signed gag orders so we won't hear much from them.

Your facts are incorrect. The Assoc Provost is still at DeVry. No VPs involved. In fact, it was a realignment of the various regions DeVry has had for years. So when you remove the different regions, you don't need those GPs. It was not a large layoff as implied.
