Boeing starliner versus Spacex dragonX

I saw a side by side comparison of Spacex dragon versus the Boeing starliner, and I just started laughing. The starliner looks nothing like a vehicle that will go into space

Agreed.
It's been nice to see Musk and Spacex successful in their space program. Boeing short-changed itself and look where it got them. Just like the commercial division has. Now Boeing has been delayed almost a year until it gets a chance to get to space, if even happens.
It's been one misstep after another over the last three to five years for Boeing. Seems like they just don't or won't learn.

Anyone seen the Simpsons episode where Homer gets to build his dream car? He builds “The Homer,” AKA “The Car Built for Homer,” AKA “The Homer-mobile?” The Starliner kind of reminds me of that effort. I guess we can all see where this is going. Discuss.

I agree we aren’t in the race for space. Will limp along in the defense until the defense budgets dry up.
