Definitely describes the EF management from late 2018 to present.
As the US military says, there is definite distinction between managing and leading. MRO seems to produce many managers, but few leaders.
You need to quit that job and find one with a better manager. Life is too short.

Yes!! That article describes some of the Bakken lower level management in a nutshell. It only forgot to mention “extreme immaturity”.
