Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Duncan Field Camp

Any news on DFC? Does it seem feasible to keep it open? Thoughts?

Halliburton is done. There is to much dead weight overhead and they just don’t get it. They are just stuffing their pockets as fast as they can before the ship goes under. It’s been a stead progression since about 2013. Everyone one who knew the business was fired and the new team has been riding on the past reputation but the money is running out and they don’t know how to run an oil field service company.

It’s not rocket science anymore, it’s turned into a commodity and the only separators are price and customer service not super camps, power towers and extra technology that aren’t game-changers.

Continental and XTO are firing back up in July.Halliburton doesn’t have a crew to sell them.In fact Gore under bid Halliburton and got the Continental work.HES still trying to sell technologies on Jeff Millers empty rhetoric. The big boys aren’t paying for sour oats any more!
