Saturday May 30th the Sears store in Laredo, Texas was super pack of people waiting in line just to go inside the store entrance. Almost half of the store merchandise is already empty. What is the point having the store open until August, if there's no merchandise to sell. 🤔
Sears in Laredo Texas was one of the most productive store in South Texas in the 1990's till 2000. So many Mexican shoppers loves to shop at Sears. Especially in the hardware department. My first job was at Sears in the summer of 92 so many memories working there.
Went to a Sears store in Laredo Texas on Friday May 29, the store was pack of people. There's a huge sign in front of the store " Sears store closing sale'. The store will close on August 9th. Sad to see another anchor store closing at Mall Del Norte. Bealls department store will close in June. There's a possibility that JCPenney might close too.
