The store has been been torched and burned to the ground.

@4djz+15cNhxkm What freaking "store", LOL? It's an empty building that USED to be a store. It had already closed before any of this stuff happened. Honestly, discussion of that building, while interesting, really has no meaning, at this point, on a Sears/Kmart board. It's an already closed store owned by the city of Minneapolis at this point. Eddie sold the store in March, and it had already permanently closed (finished liquidating) BEFORE the Mr. Floyd incident had even taken place.
So you're just discussing an old building that used to house a Kmart until Last Month.
It's still intact. Sprinklers took care of the fire. But the store is trashed.

Probably still some business insurance that'll pay to Sears to keep the lights on Another few days at some other Kmart.
Supposedly the store is closed already.
Not surprisingly there wasn't any worthwhile inventory left if the Target managed to get looted but not Kmart. I wonder if insurance losses would have made it better for Eddie to still own it for tax write off purposes.
Jokes aside. Wasn't that far off from actually happening! Right on Lake Street along with Target that got looted and some fire damage. It's lucky it wasn't that extreme. Hell maybe someone will go finish it off and get a video of it. Too bad Eddie doesn't own it anymore!!!
This store was scheduled to close This Weekend anyway, if it hasn't already. This is a Dead store with, at most, 2 Days left. So really, it's a non-story, as far as this message board goes.
Regardless, the store has not "Burned to the ground" so don't post sensationalist clickbait please and if you're going to post a statement like this, then include a link to substantiate it.
Already scheduled to close permanently next month, as the city of Minneapolis bought out their lease.
Finally someone other than Eddie is burning the company to the friggin ground. Welcome aboard partners you joined fast eddie’s party.
Welp, that's another one that will be closed down.
This list of riot damage says the KMart has "Property Damage" (likely meaning broken windows), but doesn't mention fire damage.

Oh well, at least it will save the city in Demo costs since that was the plan anyway.
