Layoffs and mandatory furloughs started in late March. Anyone on the bench for 45 consecutive days, starting May 1 is automatically furloughed. Benefits are paid for 3 mos, then separation occurs. Director-level and above not affected.
A number of direct layoffs occurred starting in late March as well, including Director-level roles.
