Interesting development in light of Charles Koch being one of the world's wealthiest men and preaching all the time about long term value creation. All of a sudden, a brief hiccup and fire 30℅ of the employees. Georgia-Pacific is an elitist place to work. Those in Sr. Management get to share in profit pools that are not available to all.e!ployees. My sales.leader drives a $140k Porsche to work and has surrounded himself with a team of yes men and women that are afraid to challenge because they fear a drop in personal.compensation. Our leaders are risk averse and their command and control secretive style will.make these layoffs very subjective. Just an interim step.before the disposal.of assets for poor performance and weak leadership.
