How many are in your group if you have 17 spots? Is this a cubicle for everyone?

I don’t know what the rotating schedule would be like. I found out today my group gets 17 spots. Six people will start back Monday. The one lady I spoke to that goes back on Monday says she doesn’t know how long she will be going in. I think the next phase happens in 3 weeks.

What would a rotation schedule? Like 1 week in/ 1 week out?

I work in the Fann building second floor. We cleaned out our cubicles/offices except for our chairs and phones. There won’t be dedicated work spaces any more. Each group will be allocated a certain amount of work spaces and we will come to the office on a rotating schedule. I was there until late Friday afternoon and there was very little movement on campus. People were not carrying out desks and chairs. We could take office supplies.

My best wishes to you all. I was laid off from Halliburton in 1998 (after 23.5 years) from Dubai. My immediate supervisors, the regional management, and the HR staff were total and complete id–ts. Poorly versed in what business is all about, and nothing to do with me, all to rub another person's back to try and survive themselves at that particular time. No doubt, I had more completely developed competency knowledge than many that remained. I, of course, survived in the world outside HES, as will you, and you will live again to write a message like this. HES top people are not so smart, so find another job, you will be glad you did. I don't need to be anonymous. Good luck and let the price of oil rise.

What I heard is that they are closing some of the buildings and combining labs as needed. So, most people (those who don't need LAB equipment for their daily job) will work from home indefinitely. Not only HAL, there are other corporate offices are doing the same thing. It seems, people are working more efficiently when they are working from home. Brace it, this is the new normal during and after COVID19 pandemic.

Pay employees with no income equals no bonus and no dividend.
Layoffs with delayed payments and fancy bookkeeping equals bonuses and dividends for another month.

They are planning to lease all the buildings and let NB employees work outside on the lawn, to save cash for HAL and generate more vitamin D for the employees to battle the covid.

No job in the plazas has to physically be present to get work done with technology these days.
