It says right in the contract, a No Lemon Guarantee. But if you look the respective Twitter and Facebook accounts, there are literally thousands of customers who are complaining non-stop that they have been unable to get service, unable to contact a human being, been charged without receiving service or products and are unable to get refunds after months of trying. They try to blame it on third parties, but the contract is with Sears. This is fraud on a grand scale. Shouldn't people be in prison for this?

Customers are complaining on social media because for a very long time they could do that and get what they want. Most of them never take the time read the agreement to really even have a reasonable understanding of what it says.
To further the problem, most of folks on the retail side fail to understand what the service agreements really are in the first place. There are people in higher levels of the company that do not realize that the agreement has always been a product sell. They have let the customers dictate that is a way to get a product replaced. It doesn't help that many of the service technicians coming in over the last few years have also been taught this. So they tell customers "if we come out enough, they'll give you a new appliance".
Someone said that a 3rd party is in charge of agreements now and that's true.
Shut up, Sears is not financially responsible for the protection agreements and insurances anymore. It's all a third party company like American Home Shield.
Yes. It can be considered criminal as to what SHS is doing, and I work for SHS, now from home. There are countless reasons as to why this operation is 'criminal', but it doesn't really matter anymore. We all know what they are. We've been screwing over our customers for years, and it's just gotten so much worse today. Anyone who has the power to do something about it (management) refuses to acknowledge the problems and address them. Everyone that is still employed is just riding this broken down and rusted gravy train until this c-apshow collapses in on itself. No one cares, and that kind of attitude starts right at the top. It trickles down and begins to fester into the morale of the underlings. Myself included. This business model is a disaster. SHS was set up to fail years ago. It won't last much longer.
