You should fire teams delivered poor quality products not poor performance employees

Recently metricstream fired employees who got below 3 rating in the appraisal (it's just a reason to layoff employees). Your clients leaving not because we perform bad, it is because of your products are bad. You should fire the teams who delivered bad quality products (platform/appstudio/products) not low rated employees. You should fire the product managers and business analysts who defined requirements that are not satisfier by clients not the employees who followed them and built the application. Why no poor performance in manager and above category? What's good doing by products head or platform head or appstudio head? Rate them also and fire.

Two AB's already took platform/appstudio to the level where no one can bring back and stabilize. M7 upgrade is a dream. Upgrading appstudio is 6 months effort to bring system back to normal after upgrade. This is retirement job for AB's and product heads, they are creating buggy products just to keep up their job secure. Unfortunately CEO, CTO and Chairman also not realizing it. Atleast our Chairman should talk to customers and get frequent feedback. Or bring survey report from customers to get real feedback. As long AB's managing platform and appstudio, metricstream will be in same position after 20 more years also.

AB is best architect ;) for designing best ever pain to Apps, GS, Customers through Appstudio, if we calcuate the cost of upgrade problems he caused for company and customers, they will be in rude shock.

Nothing new. Metricstream is quite famous in promoting people who do nothing and giving power to people like AB's, D and V's who build messy products. That's why though the company started in late 90s and still they call themselves as startup. And you never see people like Appstudio and Product, they don't understand bcustomer pain, which stupid product takes a year to upgrade on the world? And these teams attitude is like they released great innovation to the world. Focus on customer retention method than revenue generation methods. Make your customer happy, stop giving control to AB's and D's atleast when you are bringing new version of products. They are just creating messy implementations to secure their jobs. You can get best architects to build new versions with less salary than what you are paying to these guys.

This is job security for AB, he is creating aonother mess so that he will be retained for cleaning it up. He failed for years to deliver on time and deliver high quality products but he is entrusted with new version? Zero accountability and Reward for failure. Didn't they find good project manager to execute?

Now one AB working busy to build new version of platform. His great innovation Appstudio with few features and thousands of bugs even after 10 years of release. Great metricstream giving him to build new version.
