LC's job is to give a positive spin on Sears news. There's no Sears news to be had. One month Sears is selling its new DieHard partnership with Chinese suppliers and not half a year later DieHard is sold and the suppliers have cut Sears off completely with lawsuits aplenty. An old guy like him just wants to watch his Cubs, his Colts, his March Madness, reminisce about MJ, and golf all day with the media press, who he now has to hide from as best he can because that's what he's told to do. At least, unlike Eddie, he actually cares about kids with cancer, and does the St Judes walk every year. He's been around Sears longer than Eddie, and has more integrity in his pinky than Leena and Eddie put together.

I worked with Larry for many years...he actually cares about what he does and I would echo the previous post about doing a ton for St. Judes/Heroes at Home, etc...he doesn’t have a bad bone in his body and I am sure is trying to hold on...it is a tough spot for a middle aged man to leave a company (even if it is a disaster) and find a new job especially in the media business under these current economic conditions. He has primarily worked with the various brands over the years and not supporting the corporate leadership team. I’m sure now that Howard and Chris are gone, he is the only one left in PR and has to deal with the evil empire.

Really? Larry has been with Sears that long? Howard R and Chris B were the company mouthpieces for the longest time, though both obviously are gone now. Has Larry been in the PR dept this whole time as well?
He's a sellout who has been spewing Eddie's string of lies for the past 15 years. He's no hero.
Larry is a very nice man, and is just doing the job asked if him, hoping to hold out long enough to reach retirement like so many others.
Have you got a crutch on the guy as a lot of posts are about him recently and I suspect they are all yours, maybe he fired you and like a jilted lover you can't move on.
