Do you think they will offer packages next year too?

Anyone else feel this whole thing is a global take down to usher in a global reset? We are now in a depression over .03% of the population dying in the US and most of those are elderly and sick people. I hate to say it but i think we all have been mind control by fear and now we are going to lose our jobs and witness the destruction of our country.

Floor level are the people running the equipment that make the parts or partake in some form of the process that gets the part from raw material to finished product. Whether that be a machinist, heat treater, powder coated, shipping. Anyone who touches the part and has to do with it becoming a finished product

Floor is not necessarily union, and the floor personal could get hit hard as well with a drop in demand and orders from customers like Airbus. MRO too but they might be furloughed more so than now

What is a floor level worker? Is that a union position? I think there are different requirements for union and non union.

I am a floor level worker. Not an office worker. What we (floor guys) want to know is will we also be offered some form of severance. To say that we are safe is to ignore the all encompassing cuts that will be coming next year. We expect our pay to be cut as well as benefits and various other things expected from consolidation and merging. Most of the talk of layoffs and cuts are is in reference to office level folks and that’s understandable but nothing is ever mentioned about us floor level guys and what may come to pass.

I think they have to offer severance at 1 week of pay for every year up to 26 weeks. That is the minimum. But not as good as this year with 1 year psy and medical regardless of the number of years.
