I keep hearing the same thing from everyone. Tomorrow by lunch time, most of 2nd shift will be gone. If you have 4 years or less you are gone as well. This person also told me they made a bunch of people get recerts and new certs (probably because they will be the only ones left) in a bunch of different areas. We will see.

Plant 4 just walked a bunch out, myself included. Getting paid until Sept 14.
Certs and recerts? Fork lift and hoist certs are probably the only certs needed to work in the bargaining unit. They’re just trying to scare you.
Less than four years? Lay-offs go by seniority in job class not company as a whole.
