Sears Rockaway Experience

So yesterday I went to Sears in Rockaway, and I noticed some problems first off the store was understaffed probably typically for one of these stores nowadays. Second, the Up Escalator was broken, which meant the only choice was to use the elevator or go outside and take a nearby mall star case. There were also big empty chunks of the store, especially on the second floor, which s—s in the world of TransformHoldCo LLC. Unfortunately, I would not be surprised if Jersey City, New Jersey, is not announced within a few weeks or so.

I am an employee of another retailer and I'm here because I like to see what's going on with other companies. This post caught my eye. I was in the Rockaway Sears on Saturday. My experience was positive. Everything seemed well organized. The store was actually cleaner and in better shape than Macys . I bought some clothes and the cashier, a young man, was pleasant and professional. Just wanted to share that. As one retail worker to another, I wish you guys the best of luck.

Not if the escalator is barricaded off preventing entry

You do know that it is possible to walk up an escalator that is not running, Right?

There were previous posts saying that all of the New Jersey Sears stores were closing. The only one that never got confirmed because there were never any store closing job postings was Jersey City.

This is a liquidating store. Does it not have STORE CLOSING banners and signs yet?
