Thread regarding Marathon Oil Corp. layoffs

Employee Gym

I’ve been retired for several years, living out of state. Just came back and ask if gym membership is still provided (after Covid issues are resolved) free of charge to employees and retirees.

$1,100 towards LifeTime Fitness. If you don’t go at least 6 times a month they deduct the dues from your paycheck. I guess this was their response to The Rally Program they had last year. I was issued a $400 gift card by Ralley and the company revoked the gift card from me within a month of receiving it. Of course my balance on the card was around $300. Terrible program.

Is the OP serious right now? Why would such a dumb question be asked on a LAY-OFF forum—we’re all presumably out of a job and cut off from the Marathon society, right?

Who cares about the gym right now? Seriously?

It now costs the monthly equivalent of $200 per year for both employees and retirees. Don’t know if it will change when Marathon moves to City Centre in 2021.
