Yeah, ha ha ha......haven't seen any training since our days as Rochester Telephone. When a new device or system in the past at least the sales person could supply a suitcase training and some pamphlets. Then it became let go the permanent knowledgeable employees in favor of contractors. When the device failed a year later the culprit is miles away and unapproachable. Nice....cheap but misery for our customers.

The ignorance/arrogance of some people in this company has me shaking my head every day! Some of the biggest issues I've experienced is releasing/selling a product BEFORE it's ready (read IPTV), speeds upgrades without proper equipment in place, and let's not start with training!! These are just some of the daily issues a field tech deals with!
Are there issues with field techs? Hell yeah there is! There's always THAT GUY in every job! Most of the field tech techs I know do the best job they can in very problematic system within the unrealistic expectations of management!
I’ve never worked at a company where you can get a job as a tech without even having a high school diploma. It’s a known fact that the techs at Frontier are some of the dumbest people on the planet. They only know how to sleep in their vans and milk OT. Pathetic!
I left Frontier because the front end is so bad that nothing is correct. All these desk jockeys think they are the glue to hold the paper boat together. Field techs spend hours on the side of the road trying to fix 90 percent of every single order. They have now been told to not be honest with customers and if the complain about the lies sales told they will be charged for every issue. 1M service is claimed by sales to support streaming. 1 m you can't even open your email. Frontier is never leaving bankruptcy. Customers are leaving because the inside smart people licheadd services never ordered and have no clue how anything works.
If there are cuts, they should start with the techs. Those people destroyed Frontier with their greed and laziness.
