Thread regarding Bose layoffs

Excellent advice

Get your resume and skill set in order. I'm a software engineer with 30+ years behind me, and I always was working on cutting edge/current technologies - but still 30 years from college meant a lot of my algorithms - 'computer science' knowledge was in need of a refresher.

I also hired a company to do my resume because I hadn't done one in 15 years. I knew better than to rely on my out of date resume 'wisdom' .

If you start the process now - you will feel better about your prospects. I like freecodecamp as well as well as coderbyte. geeksforgeeks for data structures. Read up on your favorite software architecture styles. I like interactive websites - they give me instant gratification and it works better for me than reading large amounts of text. I wish the web was around when I was young.

Bose is definitely dying. Go read reviews of the QC 700

RUN! Bose will not survive anywhere close to the same capacity they are currently. Open your eyes. Be proactive. Things will not change. It is that black and white.
