so they want someone whos an expert at Ops, strategy, , risk assessment..........and a CODER to boot? It's a position for a one-man-band. No way will they find an external fit; maybe a desparate s—er.

This role will be VERY VERY difficult to find outside of recruiting direct peers from appliance competitors, who I have confirmed the biggest 2 all are doing VERY well now feeding off the dead carcass of Kenmore and its p-ss-d off partners in consumer (Amazon hates em) and b2b/commercial (they failed on their big contracts...couldnt afford to buy inventory).

It looks like he left in HS in April.

Yep, they haven't been able to sell it off for years now. Maybe a good salesman could raise the price a bit. Used to have the biggest share in America by far when Eddie took over. Now it has 4% this past quarter I believe? Sears Commercial / Kenmore Direct was minting money even at the time Eddie took over as CEO, and he k–led it dead. Everything associated with ESL turns to ash.

What good is the brand if there are no more stores to sell it in?

A new director to help sell it off to someone else probably.
