HR has made some serious missteps through COVID-19, not surprised their swept the leadership out of there. They need to bring in someone from the outside who actually has a background in HR and can hopefully get things on a path. I see it as positive Al yanked him - shows in some small way that they are listening to the feedback. That’s how I’m choosing to look at it anyway. Either way, good riddance.
Seem to recall same thing happened about the lateral move a decade ago when TCS started their invasion.

Nothing wrong with leaving a sinking shop. That is called smarts.
MW changing jobs is interesting. I don’t think you change your HR lead during a time like this if you are happy with their performance.
