@1zae+15FYvzAL, you are truly ignorant.
Amen on moving the goalpost. You don't like to hear it but it's undeniable. Flattening the curve was about slowing the initial spread, not magically stopping it. And it was the shutdown, NOT the virus, that led to the mass layoffs. The virus is the least of your concerns.
Management doesn't care about Covid, or employees getting it. They have actually made it a point to hide the cases, not telling the people that could be exposed that there are occurrences on campus.
They keep on moving the goalpost. Flattening the curve was the goal as not overwhelmed the ICUs. We know what happened to the hospitals. Nothing. Now the virus is not supposed to spread. LMAO
The corporate leaders have never been leaders. They have always been very busy counting their money and scratching their balls
I don't understand why this is so surprising, or serious. Of course there will be some people who get it at every company. For the vast majority it is not life-threatening, and a large number of people are asymptomatic. It's a virus, and so it's inevitable that it will spread through the population until we eventually reach a level of herd immunity. You cannot stop the spread, only artificially slow it down. And measures to slow it down are only prolonging that process and causing worse human cost and suffering. Older employees and those with significant preexisting risk factors should take the most serious measures to protect themselves, the rest of us should be diligent to reduce transmission risk and temporarily quarantine when sick.
It is inevitable but for corporate to take this long to report it is plain ignorance. At the beginning of furlough, no one was required to wear masks or social distance or any plan in place, but we are essential work. As furlough ended and layoffs commence, no masks, no social distancing, no measuring temperature as people returned to North Belt facility for work. Only until Covid is reported in Technology buiding and Shipping and Receiving building are additional measures put in place. The corporate leaders are not leaders just a bunch of followers. There is no plan with Halliburton's management team.
Wow
This is bad
Its just flu
