Company hiring lotsoff fresher's and making them to be on bench for 6momths now due to covid they are sending people on unpaid leave for three months . Don't know what to do as a fresher

True, better to change course early, as later it will be impossible as teh cartel of nassscom let IT services firm will compartmentalize ones career
Sorry to hear about this happening with ATOS. Hopefully Covid will die down and they will allow refreshers to go back out in the field.
For the time being keep looking for work and as mentioned above get more hands on experience with more skills.
Learn real technologies (not IT services company recommended ones) and get better jobs. Tonnes of real tech work available for pros who can really write code (98% of It staff in IT services firms cant do core programming as they are exposed to low end maintenance and support work for long periods.
A stint of more than one year Indian IT services firm can prove fatal to the career, as the uncertainity and lack of communication in bench period designed to saddle and destroy the person psyche
