ExHR friend (Haha that sounds funny on this board) has given me the heads up that a layoff is being planned for perhaps to day or just before the holiday weekend.
Soooooo who besides middle management is ripe for the pickin this round?
I think HSE is safe and that IT and Fin/Acct are not going to make it through unscathed. Supply Chain has to be reorged in order to cut more but I am not sure if they want to do it. Thoughts?

I wish I had a dollar for each of the “layoffs coming I have inside information” posts. If OXY is truly going for PPP funds (the reason for restoring salaries) then it’s not likely they will be doing any involuntary layoffs anytime soon. The PPP program requires no layoffs. They may go to one their poorly thought out VSP programs.
