Here is my first ever post! I thank those who give information and I have valued your insight. Today I was laid off from OptumRx, it was by a sudden meeting called “Chat” by my 1 up (Director). Best of luck to everyone I was also given a list of all those laid off today and it was 6 pages long. Therefore, I wish you all the best, chins up! We got this!

Nit picking even our mouse activity & pushing retraining.
My mouse now rests on several moving objects.
I record meetings now & take screen shots with my phone. Too many discrepancies between leaders.
I’m not feeling very Rah Rah lately.
Please contact the EEOC if over 40!!!
This company has so much discrimination, due to race, age and religion etc. ( A lot of people just want to be done once out of here or they’re scared to report, if still employed here.. DON’T be!..otherwise they will continue to get away with this) This company is beyond racist and Yes, its been reported to Ethics and all the way to the top guy. I guess this company thinks that when they donated 10 million dollars to the George Floyd family that in their heads they believe they’re NOT racist! LMAO. Also on another post there is an anonymous link to post to The NY Times! I just have a super strong feeling this company will be on the news soon!!!
The list doesn’t have anyone’s name on it, just the job title and age of each worker selected for the layoff. There are no names given.
Too bad you can't share that list with the media - so they can publicize what's happening.
Sorry about your layoff. Yes, You/We will be okay. The hard part is after you have worked your butt off they throw you out like trash, cutting off all access to systems and the building immediately. If you work in the office they won't let employees pack their own stuff. Hollow words in the written notice that they value your contribution and that you can apply for other positions. Who believes they would be rehired when they aren't trusted to say goodbyes and leave the building peacefully.
I think these layoffs just are going to keep coming and employees are not going to be motivated to work as hard. But hey, as long as the stock keeps going up, that’s the ultimate goal now. It’s so not about helping people live healthier lives. Is anyone left still actually drinking that corporate culture Kool-Aid?
I’m over 40 so the law requires the company to give me a list of the ages of people who were laid off to show there isn’t age discrimination. It’s called The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).
That's weird that there was a list. Normally they keep it very quiet and you don't know someone is gone until you try to email them and it bounces back.
