Point missed - technology organizations develop/own their IP/tech development - they do NOT outsource and hobble together third party vendors contracted.
In addition - exceptional innovative organizations build, board approved strategy by segment plans. With goals, objectives, strategies and measurable tactics. As an WFD senior leader - I was saw, was asked to contribute or presented a segment strategic plan (leadership/board approved). When there is no roadmap, no IP and no Innovation - there is no market parity, no competitive advantage, no customer story and ultimately no organizational success. Conduent is attempting to stay float, competitors are creating value for current and future customers. What a poorly run organization by past/former white military male leaders (they like to tout). It's sad to watch this ship go down- month over month - when a comprehensive organizational strategy, a strong moral commitment to employees and stockholder responsibility would have been followed the current situation averted. Abject failure by Conduent leaders and Board.
They’ve sold what was salable over the last 4 years and have already tried to sell more.
Conduent has NO core competencies (any longer). All has been outsourced. House of Cards.
The morale and employment longevity for current employees must be simply demoralizing. Fear of continued layoffs, lack of transparent leadership, lack of a coherent organizational strategy and inability to demonstrate to the market stability is astounding. Anyone with a cintella of strategy experience must recognize how poorly this organization has been run since the spin off from the Parent. It is a case study in short sighted downsizing of talent, poor strategic decision making, senior leader experience and customer trust.
Because the "customers" of Conduent (other corporations/government agencies) are just as corrupt and could not care less about the quality of the service provided since the actual service
impacts the low level employee/retiree/red light traffic camera/EZ pass/medicare/medicaid
end point victim.
I am both perplexed and surprised that any corporation (in an RFP situation) or Renewal - would select Conduent as their vendor of choice. This is not so much a "ding" on Conduent solutions & products - as it about the extreme and ongoing instability of the Conduent organization. I would not be able, in good faith, to select this organization as a partner.
