I find it interesting that there hasn’t been one article published or news about the recent layoffs. I know Staples is private but you cannot get any information or rumors on this company except here. Clearly Sycamore has an exit strategy coming up and I’m assuming retail will be the next victim but all that’s in the news is their current interest in JC Penny (which seems like a horrible investment).

Sycamore is laying off several folks at Belk as well
Staples and there management blows monkey balls
Perhaps nobody cares.
Perhaps the news of Staples laying people off is overshadowed by the news of over 33 million people going on unemployment during the virus.
