That's the goal (the only goal) of these layoffs. Numbers up, exec bonuses up. End of story. There had a several other approaches if they wanted not to do layoffs. OK, it's just business - but Julie & Co. please do not be so obviously deceiving and fake.

Accenture, orchestrator of the Global Hunger Games. As I recall, this was the former CHRO's favorite movie and book of all time. Let the games begin.
@3mvi good question. The layoff plan and some of the layoffs were before the H1B ban.
How can they layoff US workers and then have employees on H1 b . The whole premise of H1 b is that they have shortage of talent and therefore getting workers from other countries.
Accenture rocks as a firm. No questions about it. I would still be there if I got promoted to partner, but found a better job externally. Would love to come back one day.
