Thread regarding Sears layoffs

IRTS

I’m a IRT that was furloughed the beginning of April, I got a letter yesterday that said the store I was listed under will close Aug. 30 and that I would be terminated at that time. Any idea if I’ll receive severance pay for all my years of service! Thanks

Sorry, TransformCo doesn't have money to pay you because Eddie purposefully destroyed your livelihood by putting all the money in stock buybacks and Seritage dividends to line his own pockets instead of investing in a viable business. The funds can be located in Jerry Epstein's black book, searchable on the web.

The only people who care how long you’ve worked at Sears is you and your wife... Congratulations

No. Maybe a compensation for separation in base of your hourly wage.

I don't believe anyone is getting severance pay anymore.

No severance for all years of pay. All
Those years worked was for Sears. You gave that up when you sign letter to accept job from transformco
