Seriously, people. If you haven't been called back by now, you have higher chances of not being called at all than receiving that call you are so hoping for. If you're smart, you'll start looking for something new right away. Don't let yourself become a victim of circumstances.

This is a furlough , not a layoff, look it up!!, its 2 different things, they have to by law officially release you from your job by a personal letter or face to face, so I would not jump the gun just yet.
It's time for some tough love. The love of your life, SeaWorld, is breaking up with you...divorcing you...abandoning you. So take your talents and find a new love; someone who will treat you with respect and honor your talents. Then bloom into a new you.
Are your in Orlando or San Diego? What department?
I don't think there is anything wrong with the way this is worded. To each their own. It's the truth and it didnt come off harsh. Everyone needs to take care of themselves and do what is best for their family.
You could phrase this a bit kinder. Sure that may be the truth but there is a much better way to say this. Everyone is going through a hard time not just you, so "that person" you're so upset about who is holding on to hope just leave them be or encourage them gently to look.
