To the commenter below me...this doesn’t surprise me. We had layoffs in May and were told the list changed daily. Stupid.
I saw the list who’s getting let go next month .. its sad .. the union knows and wont say anything ..

Really, you are lucky you have representation. Try working in a right to work state. They can fire you for anything. They can tell you to do a headstand in a bucket of c r a p. If the don,t comply you will be let go. Your job description is what ever they want it to be. It changes daily. Don't b–ch about unions.
