I been with JCPENNEY FOR A WHILE IM NOT READY TO GO BACK BUT I KNOW MY STORE MANAGER WILL PLOT AGAINST ME, I HAVE 30 DAYS TO DECIDE AND I TOLD HIM THAT, THEY WANT ME THERE ON PART TIME HOURS WHEN IM FULL TIME, LOOK JUST CLOSE THEM DOWN AND WORRY ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES, HOW DOES THE CE0 GET 4.5 MILLION AND SHE HAS NOT DONE Sh–, GREED GREED WE ALL NEED TO CALL THEM ON THIS

I work at the Marshalltown Iowa store full-time. Our manager just phoned each of us and told us that the store would be opening on June 8th and asked if we were coming back. We were with the understanding that we had to or we would be fired. He never once asked any of us if we wanted to take the extra 30 days.
I asked him about it at the meeting the other morning and he said, "it was out there." Come to find out it was I a memo of sorts sent to our jcp mailbox which we were all locked out of.
Not the MAX, LIKE I SAID YOU WANT YOUR EMPLOYEES BACK AND READY TO WORK GIVE THEM AN INCENTIVE SHOW THAT YOU CARE. YOU SAW KROGERS GOT PAY RAISES AND OTHER STORES.
With part time hours can you still collect unemployment??
I am in Texas, who wants to work part time hours when at my store we have alot of full time employees. What jcpenney needs to do if give an incentive for coming back to work during this pandemic, i dont think we can work freely no matter how cautious we are. I heard your reference regarding the bonus, but on the store level all merit raises were cancelled. People just have alot of things going on to be shortchanged and then deal with unemployment benefits.
Hi..What state are you in? Why do you think your manager is plotting against you? From what I have read, they gave the CEO that money so she doesn't leave. If she leaves before November she has to give it back. I am also full time but I don't expect that we will get full time hours right away. People are still going to be afraid to come into the stores and shop. We were very slow the week before we closed.
