Without a college degree (half way to bachelor), Boeing has very competitive pay and great benefits. But good God do they ever need to clean house with management. I’ve had a total of 13 jobs in my time, and management at Boeing is the absolute furthest from the words definition. At my plant, managers are unequivocally useless. Apart from signing my time, the rest of most all responsibility on the floor is handed down to the leads; managers appear void of really any responsibility, and if I’m wrong then wow do they need to work on their communication and transparency. Again, apart from pay and benefits, one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked for; they do not care for their employees in really any capacity and it shows.

This is going to be worse than 911. I believe Boeing will issue warn notifications on June 1 and all but a few will leave around that date with pay until July 31. Very sad to watch what’s going on. I hope it turns out good for everyone. It seemed Boeing outsmarted Airbus when they went 787 at first they acted like they were going bigger than 747 Airbus went 350 we went 787. Downhill ever since. Sad
