I think someone will buy the brand and customer information, but the "company"? Nah. Sears has ruined their own worth. Management doubled down on the nonsense too many times and it'sh– a point where the name means nothing positive anymore.
I wouldn’t call A& E, or Sear Techs for anything, all the good Techs retired, or left.
No one needs to buy this business very poorly run business.Some will just hire qualified employees

Meh. The appliance repair business is over. A few independents will hang on for a while but most people are already trained to replace appliances in 7-10 years of new.
Whirlpool et al have been selling a disposable microwave for years now. Zero replacement parts, 1 year full replacement warranty. After 1 year FU. It isn't just Whirlpool though. Dacor, Viking, Thermador still supply replacement parts but it isn't uncommon to find part not available for a 2-3 year old high end model. A dying breed in a dying trade working for a dying company.
