It's the control of precious metals all over the world. US did nothing. China filled the void. I imagine they were stunned when US showed such a lack of leqdership. We can make all the PCs we want but sooner or later those precious metals will be necessary. And the Chinese have the rights.

Please tell us what tech company is truly American. And don’t say Dell because there laptops are also built in China.
