Zero “layoffs”. Now regarding terminations due to “poor performance”, that’ll likely be a different story altogether!

The budgets are already trimmed by 18%, the next axe to fall is a 10% HC cut. Unfortunately with PRC trade wars it is difficult to do that and turnaround and hire. The 10% will get dragged out.

To those who say there is no layoff. They have already started. They laid off the while San Diego GPU HW team recently.

To those who say they don’t do it! They have already started. They cut the whole San Diego GPU HW team mid-May.

If GSC or SMG going to cut...when it going to happen? Leaders mentioned no lay-off this year.

I have been with Intel for a long time. Fortunately, I made the decision to leave. I will admit, it was a hard and unnerving decision. But it was worth it. I dont understand what it will take for its employees to understand that this company stopped caring for its employees a long long time ago. I have seen many many very experienced and loyal employees being fired. Some of them have never worked anywhere else. Dont tell me that it is hard to pack up and move. This is exactly what the management at Intel is taught to take advantage of. Good trusting management is very hard to find in Intel and if there are any good managers, they are suppressed. There are plenty of great companies out there who will gladly pay you more. Please do your selves and your families a favor and at least look out side Intel. Dont wait until you are shown the door.

HPE cut staff pay, office closures and layoffs totalling 1B$. Ours will be similar with cuts already in capital and expenses the next axe is resources, same playbook as 2016

No layoffs until they figure out they hired too many. Early 2021.

Zero because they will be labeled as slots being “converted” under the new “furloughed to fired” program!

Zero because there won't be any.

The US workforce is around 50K Blue Badges..
It's time for a Retirement incentive which could trim a few thousand,
and a general layoff for another few thousand.
So the total may be around 5000?
