Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Kmart vs Sears

Reminder that the best performing store in the company is a kmart. The Guam kmart does over $150 million in sales yearly. You can add up all current Sears full line locations sales for a year and they probably barely beat Guam kmart.

It does do over $150 million. Do your f—ing homework. The little caesar's does over $10 million. You're mad because Sears s—s. Your low margin appliances is what bleeds Sears of any notion of profit.

Eddie wants to hide bad info about Lands' End and Seritage because they're in such bad shape and on the verge of bankruptcy and the stock market hasn't realized they're penny stocks yet. The layoffs are supposed to be hush hush. They even said not to say anything about the furloughs. Whenever things get said about Seritage or Lands' End, expect the Kmart rah rah and fake don't talk about Kmart anti-rah rah to come around to bury it.

Also just because you make 150 million in sales (which they don’t) does not mean you are profitable. The expenses/shipping costs are definitely draining the profits. Also you can tell you have no clue what you are talking about. Things aren’t that simple.

Don’t give Kmart too much credit. Let’s speak facts now. The only reason it is “profitable” is because there are no Targets or Walmarts in Guam. If that was to happen, Kmart would be finished. It’s a tourist destination, people just go there to buy “American “ products. It’s not even the locals buying. And I don’t even think it’s that profitable. The logistics expense for that store must be insane. Which is why smart Target and Walmart haven’t opened stores there.
