Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

401k - How ungrateful

So many ungrateful whiners talking about throwing in the towel over your 401k match being cut...which at most equaled $7k per year. S— it up and keep on going or quit. Ive some Dell to Sell and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Don't agree with person who started this thread. Don't sell Dell or any shares when they are down unless you are short of cash.

Dell pulled the trigger on 401K cut way too fast , its only been 9 weeks WFH and we are all working more.

"I've decided to work 6% less now."

I'm personally going to take off all of the time that is given to me (3 weeks per year) Usually I overwork, but seriously, whats the point of overworking for a company that doesn't care about you?

They could have made so many other cuts to things, such as executive bonus's/stock grants

Hourly field engineers have a cap on OT, the 6% 401k match put on hold, and then there is next years bonus.... Hopefully companies will start buying soon and we can get thru this mess.
