Yes this is true. I was an egineer at the WHQ building and was layed off in late May. From my understanding, they were planning to cut 10% of the building headcount by the end of May. The reason was due to a sharp decline in sales due to OEM shutdowns and a slow restart. Employees layed off were given a substantial severence package so that was fortunate.
