10% of CDKi to go - The cull has started

Another comment removed although to be fair it was perhaps verging on personal abuse.
BVRLA watcher is right some people really dont understand the optics of this and internal meet ups when people cant get a full bonus and a totally unrealistic sales target is in place.
Maybe its too much for my tiny little brain!
Good news it’s award season so the leaches are out enjoying free champagne and food, never winning anything but happy to rub everyone’s nose in the brown stuff with their LinkedIn glory posts. They have absolutely no moral compass and are beyond disgusting. Can’t believe they can sleep at night but I guess they don’t spot the distaste in the room as I do watching them and hear what the people say on the tables. Jokers.
Most of what I have read on here HAS become reality at some point, so to class it as nonsense is wrong. Those ill informed you mention are perhaps the people working and affected by these bad practices daily.
I have to say I read a fair amount of nonsense written by the ill informed on here but the comments about the townhall are spot on.
CRO was in full psycho bob mode- even her hair has changed from free to fully wound up!
Apparently we are going me releasing products that are 80% there rather than staring at our navels. We already release products that are not fully functional in order to get the Sales in. The associated support and PS corrective costs offset this and hence why us little people cant have a bonus but no doubt the KLT will walk away with full bonus yet again.
Great everyone is getting accountability training but those who are truly accountable for duff product, poor installation, selling anything to to anyone will remain free while those of us who have to deal the customer issues will held accountable for doing more and more and blamed for churn.
Yes CRO we may all be invested and have responsibility for our business to grow but you just look in total fear of your future and in full on panic mode.
Something isn't right at the moment we have FP people being parachuted in which suggest some senior people who are not part of FP cash withdrawal scheme are due to accountable. Sadly I can see this happening at all levels and not where it should be.
When someone bleats on about the new opportunities available with a large customer following a face to face and two weeks later they announce they are leaving (but it is ok we are getting money off them this year and next) you know a substantial shift is on its way. Sadly I too am now actively looking for employment elsewhere - not because I don't believe in our product and company and the great people who deal our customer daily (and spend it apologising!) but because it is led by flailing failing numpties.
Any way off to find a scarecrow and a lion............
Harsh but fair.
Not convinced the CRO saying you need to get it into your little brains is acceptable for someone of that level to say to the rest of the workforce of the company, dreadful attitude to the people of keyloop
Is there any point in dropping Tom an email directly? Is the writing not already on the wall for those who remain?
It would appear those left are simply waiting for the inevitable to happen and creaming the last few pension and salary payments before the final cull and the big R payment.
Perhaps I am wrong.
Just watched the Townhall recording - the highlights -
After years of being told the DMS is the core of what we do, turns out the DMS is no longer our DNA - Pinewood will be rubbing their hands at this.
Apparently Pinewood are only an issue in the UK market. Except of course they have a presence all around Europe and have just made an important acquisition in the Middle East - head in the sand management or just ignorance?
The "Star" awards should be renamed the "Brown Nose" awards. Telling that they couldn't even be bothered to articulate why the management poodles had "won".
We're going to start selling product before it's launched? What? What could go wrong? Do these people have any idea how technically complicated some of these products are? Again, Pinewood will be rubbing their hands together.
The CRO comes across as quite 'manic' at the best of times, but today she was in full-on, swivel-eyed, psycho mode. Does she have any grasp of software development or the business we're in? Perhaps her medication was wearing off or she forgot to take it this morning?
Talking of medication ............ "The Wizard of Oz"! WT actual F is that woman on? It would be quite funny if it weren't for the fact this half-witted bint decides what our salaries are.
At some point Fonzie jumped his motorbike over a shark tank.
I may have made the last bit up, but you kind of get the feeling that's the kind of territory we're in these days.
And before any of the sycophantic hangers on start bleating, the first thing I did after watching the recording was put in an application for another job. At this point I'd quite happily leave and take my 25+ years experience with me.
Perhaps Anon's post on December the 13th did have some truth to it!
"All the jobs headed to India"
The problem is that they never learn from their countless mistakes. India is a failure for support and yet they want to move finance operations out there as well now. The quality of the accounting is bad enough in Prague but this will make it even worse. The Netsuite implementation was a total eye wateringly expensive train wreck, and they seem to have abandoned the project part way through leaving us with more complexity and mess.
Imagine the current Liverpool football club owners coming up with a cunning plan akin to when FP bought CDK. We will get rid of all our top players and replace them with new ones that will play for less money it does not matter that have never played football before they can learn, we will become a great team and we will be paying peanuts to our employees after all anyone can kick a ball . When they get beat every week 10+-0 and go from the top of the premiership to bottom of the local pub team league they realised that they needed players that knew how to play unfortunately by this time all the fans had changed allegance to teams that could play - sound familiar?
Interesting to see how ELT/CEO awards are only for the “inner” circle of senior managers and UK employees, doing the job they are paid thousands of £ dollars to do anyway.
Keyloop's biggest mistake was outsourcing much of its support to India. Until this decision is reversed, the situation will only deteriorate, leading to more customer losses. However, SLT and KLT are too proud to acknowledge their error, meaning nothing will change until it’s too late. The current focus on quantity over quality doesn’t solve problems, it only makes them worse.
Can I suggest you hard working management go back four years and look at KPi’s for support and then ask yourself if you are doing a good job. Backlog is 10x larger now. Every priority SLA for response and resolution was hit month on month without fail, now it’s the complete opposite. Customer complaints are now constant. I’m on the ground in support and it’s beyond a disaster. I also remember back in day when support always came out top in customer surveys. Wake up.
Continue to do what you perceive as working hard, you are doing a fantastic job for Pinewood, I am sure they are very grateful for your endeavours. I wouldn't spend much time worrying about if you are making a difference, it's clear you are not as your customers are already making one of the hardest business decisions, changing the DMS and leaving. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.
If you think it's that bad, why not grow a backbone and email Tom directly? Let him know where he's going wrong instead of playing keyboard warrior. It’s easy to tear down a company from behind a screen, but plenty of people at Keyloop, including senior leadership, are working hard every day to make a real difference for customers.
And the post below is one of the reasons why Keyloop is going down the toilet. Happy clappers without a clue, brainwashed by their equally clueless leadership team, Pinewoods recent Middle East acquisition will greatly speed the process up, get ready for the email inviting you to the meeting with HR!
Let's be real, 95% of the people commenting on thelayoff.com are just bitter ex-employees clinging to their grudge like it's a severance package!
I fully expect this comment to get bombarded with downvotes from the same little keyboard warriors who spent more time complaining about their job than actually doing it. Enjoy your unemployed rage-scrolling!
Not according to marshals but if that's true then if pinewood are worse than keyloop the industry is truly sc--wed
You said the same about Marshalls leaving, yet they've decided to stay with Keyloop, the best decision in my opinion, and I'm sure Lookers will also do a u turn when they realise Pinewood aren't as good as keyloop.
Lookers to Pinewood is a big loss. Keyloop are easy pickings with very poor service and huge loss of capability. Ever since FP got involved they thought they could run roughshod over customers as too difficult to leave. Well another deathnail to KLT muppets.
Anyone noticed that they do not ask questions on reward/recognition any longer in the Peakon surveys because they know the answers just bring the scores down and HR/KLT are desperately trying to lift the scores. Just shows the honesty/integrity of these people and don’t get me talking about the Glass door HR happy clapper fake reviews. Do they really believe people are fooled by this laughable BS?

Another one bites the dust.
"Organising to Accelerate” - dig your own hole as it is otherwise known.
Be bold, be authentic, be out of a job!
Its like a bad addition of Rainbow the children's tv show from back in the day, you can match all the characters up with the members of the klt and it's easy to work out who Bungle is, talk to the people who have been pushed out or just chosen to leave its a poor state of affairs
“Organising to Accelerate” a sale? Redundancies? KLT bonuses? More bureaucracy?
It’ hard for me to understand, but I have also only worked with leadership for 10 years, in the company for 20 years, and within IT for 30 years, so what do I know?
Good advice below. Also be very aware of the game HR will play. They position themselves as your friend helping you get the best deal possible. They will tell you that you got things others never had. They make you feel like you have won. It’s all a huge sham. They will sc--w you with a smile saving the company as much as possible.
Thank me later for this post.
First place to go for advice for any UK staff with employment issues:
https://www.acas.org.uk/advice
This link is worth a read as you are able to represent yourself at a tribunal (for things like sham redundancies, general wrong doing, etc):
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/work/employment-tribunal/employment-tribunals/
Look at this link for past and future judgements (you may have to search for previous company names or current company names ( see company house for filing records for aliases, etc):
https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions
Remember, companies want you to leave and go quietly with minimal fuss and not gaining bad press for themselves. Often a back hander is easily accepted by the person not in the know of basic employment law. You don't have to accept below the bare minimum. The law is on your side, fight the power!
Regarding redundancies in Germany and Denmark, there is a general plan for all countries in EU to make all but Tier1support, local PS consultants and local sales redundant. KLT is aware it will take years, but the plan is there. So all who are in management of some kind, developers, Infrastructure, tier 2 or 3 support etc, expect your job to move either to Asia or UK. External contractors will also take over in some instances.
Uk worker is d-mb. Being used. They dont see it. You are being replaced in the while. Soon you will get made redudant! Just ask your boss if they have plan to replace you. Sorry telling you
Ooh bump up a recent post on here and do remember this piece of BS:
"We have no intention or desire to sell or offload individual divisions of the business. A potential sale may occur in the next 2 to 3 years, but it will involve the company as a whole. Restructuring is essential to ensure we are well-positioned for the future and to continue providing an excellent experience for our customers. Recent redundancies were part of a strategic shift and are not as extensive or widespread as some might suggest."
What about Germany or Denmark, are there also layoffs planned?
Our comrades in the UK . Have some respect for yourself. They are closing you down soon. You will lost your job. Do the minimum and focus your effort searching for new job. The pay off will be minimum they can get away with. You are worth more than the way you are being treated. That meeting with HR is coming.
KLT are looking to sell the remaining hardware operations/field engineering by Q2 2025
Re: Bristol question all the people mentioned have left the business. The operation remains but not for long as KLT are actively looking to get rid soon.
I would guess not given that they all appear to be males, poweful women only employed these days, whatever that means? (Unless you are on old chum of TK).Previous experience and ability to actually do the job is not important.
Engineering and Product
If operation Zong is to be believed. Where is the axe going to strike next? P.S. - sales - consultancy - support/ - hardware - hosting?
Stay of execution for the hosting locations then
