The lawsuit moving forward. Actual courtroom start scheduled for September. Pre-trial motions have seen DFA try to make the case that as a co-op they are exempt from monopoly restrictions. DOJ weighed in citing examples of where DFA was hit with settlements for monopolistic behavior in the past and that DFA doesn't play by the rules and tries to hide what they are doing behind various underhanded front groups and company partnerships that DFA tries to make look like separate entities but are really controlled by DFA. DFA responded that the DOJ has no jurisdiction in this case. (Yeah, that's gonna fly.) So looking like yet another lawsuit that DFA will try to settle by throwing millions away and promising to change how that do business and then in the end they won't change.
