Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

No 401(k) match through end of fiscal year

We are suspending the U.S. 401(k) match for all eligible team members effective June 1, 2020, with the last match set for May 29, 2020. You will notice the change in your first June paycheck. You can continue to contribute on an individual basis, but your contributions will not be matched through at least the end of this fiscal year.

I’ve heard from so many of you sharing your understanding and support for the tough decisions we’ve had to make – and likely will have to continue to make. Because this is specific to those eligible to participate in the U.S. 401(k), I thank you for your support of our entire team. It’s times like these when sticking together and doing what we can to protect our future really matters. "

It just keeps getting worse and worse. Notice how this came out AFTER the Tell Dell survey? Bonuses will be next..... Who the hell is JC talking to that's being understanding and supportive?

Time to move on. There are alot of companies hiring right now allowing people to work remotely in locations where it would have been too long of a commute. I think it's come to that point where Dell is no longer a desirable workplace.
