Who are these jokers that keep making these ludicrous stupid comments? Obviously not employees at SWN! 😡 We have great leadership! Mr Way will be invited to my wedding one day, even though I work in the mail room now.

Get ready for this. I just now got on my work phone from someone else’s work phone a screenshot (ok warning here you can’t un-see this) of a remote online meeting that shows someone with a super cheesy pearly whites (maybe just the screen shot) and a super pressed dressed shirt who did not realize part of the camera shows him sporting a cute little garter belt. Me oh my is this now awkward. Maybe someone should send out a reminder to everyone to be sure to dress appropriately for online meetings.
Glad you did not get a VLO. Me not so lucky and now filing. Internet bill paid so can’t blame the layoff notice on that. Sad. Had given many years to this wonderful company. So many lovely people who are true sweethearts. Will miss seeing their smiling faces. Please reach out to me when we can get together for a coffee and talk about all the great times we had at work. Well, had a brief scare today. It seemed my access to company email was cut-off. I thought the unimaginable had happened. A, as you call it, “VLO” or virtually laid off event had happened with me. I was prepared for the worst. Even told my family. Turns out my wife forgot to pay my home internet bill and I lost connection. Shouldn’t have called my boss in tears thinking I was toast. I will live to fight another day at this great company we call “SWN”!
Whoever came up with virtual layoff is not smart enough to work at my company. I like to do layoffs the ol fashion “way” aka “boss” to “servant”. Man my comedy routine is something else!
Times ahead will see more of my masterful leadership. I am “way” ahead of my time!

My broker is telling me to buy into SWN as this is gonna rocket upwards bigly. Should I drop a few coins here or not?
While it's nice to see a run up in stock price, this won't last. Why is that? First, the big producers in the Permian aren't shutting in wells but merely reducing some production a tiny bit since they have forward contracted their production for years at $55 or more per barrel, just as SWN forward contracted its production at $2.60 per BTU. And SWN's profitability was helped a lot in 2019 by a one-time tax write-off of $411 million. Without this write-off, the company would have further reduced its profitability. But a write-off is one-time not every year. These developments have nothing to do with the C-suite but instead are market driven. It's not your leaders who are improving profits and company performance but market conditions. That won't stop many from taking credit but they had nothing to do with it.
