For the past year Optum has been laying off American workers and hiring overseas. This will continue into 2020. This compromise of your personal information and the contracts they handle are a violation. Layoffs will ramp back up.

This has been the plan for the last three years . I was national trainer and they will be off shoring everything . It’s a master plan and also aligned to the leases of buildings in the US. Optus is the most vile company and I left and blew whistle on their actions ... Medicate cannot
Be sent out of country !!!! Not sure if they still are but if they do - report it !!! They will loss their ability to process Medicare they have already been warned and fined millions if not billions
Be ready for more IT help desk jobs to be sent over seas. Just saw several help desk jobs on their website for the phillipines. No help desk jobs for US workers and the phillipines techs are taking level 2 jobs also. Making all low pay Ph techs level 1 and 2. Just warm bodies to pick up a phone and struggle through reading a script.
This has been happening for the past year or more. Many contracts that are limited to American on shore only are being viewed by off shore which is in violation of the customer’s contract. No ethics!
