Having worked for kroger for many years and now in a management role the writing is on the wall. They could care less about their associates. Just keep pushing their associates to their max. No days off, long hours, and no family time. They make decisions that make no sense. Let’s increase order capacity without the necessary supplies, associates, and room. They don’t listen to anyone. Put a day in your employee shoes just once. Accidents are happening left and right because everyone is running around with their head cut off. Employee morale is at an all time low. What does kroger do for appreciation- they get some stupid little Caesars pizza. It’s sad when the local pizza restaurant donates every other week. Kroger is a terrible company!!!!

This is very true. Now that last "Hero Pay" is at the end of June we all go back to being worried about how many hours will be cut. Most Kroger stores are union and they find every loophole to get rid of employee. They don't fire you they make it by giving unlivable hours a week and so much busy work, especially in pharmacy, that you leave or they write you up about job performance & then let you go & you don't get unemployment.
Kroger is innovators. They come up with the most audits. They have teams working on them as we type.
I agree. I hear about all the key words like honesty and integrity. But question where the hours come from. And get the lies... not every division has the same hours to do the same tasks. I have division leaders so disconnected from the stores and customers.
I also getting tired of watching kroger being followers not innovator's. Look at what is going on right now. Walmart has a plan for the pandemic. All we do is follow their lead.
